Permanent residents in a foreign country who don’t possess Greek citizenship and would like to acquire a property in Greece for their own use (e.g. to spend their holidays in this property) or as an investment can apply for a loan.
In this case the applicant is obliged to appoint a legal representative of his/hers with Power of Attorney (lawyer or relatives), who will represent him/her and act on his/her behalf in all matters obtaining the loan.
In order to obtain the loan it is as well absolutely necessary to obtain a letter of recommendation from the bank the applicant is cooperating with in the foreign country.
All documents and a copy of his/her passport must be officially translated and stamped by Greek Authorities (Embassy, Consulate) in the foreign country.
The interest rates of the loans are according to the Euribor standards and rates and are according to the European legislation.
